This accession consists of audio recordings of Douroucouli (Aotes trivirgatus), or night monkeys, and other animals created by Ernest P. Walker during a study of animal behavior and communication. Walker's study was an analysis to determine whether animals talk. Walker used these recordings to assemble two editions of an audio "Douroucouli to English" dictionary. Materials also include sonograms and accompanying labels, and a summary of the recordings in English text. Some of the recordings are unidentified or missing.

Descriptive Entry
