DESCRIPTIVE ENTRY

The Washington Conservation Guild is a nonprofit organization of conservation professionals, based in Washington, D.C. While serving primarily as a forum for exchange of information among its members, the Guild also seeks to help non-conservators learn more about caring for their own art and artifacts.

This collection includes newsletters; records kept by presidents, secretaries, and treasurers; membership information; meeting announcements; records of the nominating, bylaws and public outreach committees; and materials documenting lectures, workshops, seminars, publications and meetings.
