This collection consists of notes, lists, catalogs, drawings, and manuscripts on mollusks. Much of the material relates to specimens in the Division of Mollusks, National Museum of Natural History.

The collection includes a manuscript on the mollusks of the Republic of Panama by James Zetek, 1917; a list of Florida shells collected for the Smithsonian by Henry Hemphill, circa 1884; notes on squid collected around Bermuda by Joseph William Collins, circa 1880; a report on a voyage from Washington, D. C., to South Carolina by Robert Platt, United States Navy, undated; and a catalog of shells collected in Florida by Robert Edwards Carter Stearns, 1869.

Descriptive Entry

This collection consists of notes, lists, catalogs, drawings, and manuscripts on mollusks. Much of the material relates to specimens in the Division of Mollusks, National Museum of Natural History.
