INTRODUCTION
This finding aid was digitized with funds generously provided by the Smithsonian Institution Women's Committee.These records consist of personnel files of curators and museum specialists
of the Department of Paleobiology, circa 1940-1980. These files include
correspondence, biographical sketches, and curricula vitae of the curators and
museum specialists. Also included in these records are photographs. Curators and museum specialists included in these files are Ray S. Bassler,
Arthur G. Cooper, David H. Dunkle, Douglas Emlong, Lorenzo Ford, Charles Lewis
