DESCRIPTIVE ENTRY
John F. Lance (1916-1991), was a geologist and vertebrate paleontologist. He
spent most of his professional career at the University of Arizona and the
National Science Foundation. This accession primarily documents Lance's
research on vertebrate fossils and includes correspondence; field, laboratory,
and research notes; reports; publications; manuscripts and illustrations; and
photographs and slides.
