DESCRIPTIVE ENTRY
This accession consists of photographs and glass plate negatives documenting
Bartsch's field work in the Bahama Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, West Indies
(Johnson-Smithsonian Deep-Sea Expedition, 1933), San Salvador, and the
Philippines. Also included is correspondence concerning the
Johnson-Smithsonian Deep-Sea Expedition, 1933, and Charles Russell Orcutt's
collecting work in Haiti and Jamaica.
