Historical Note
Curtis Williams Sabrosky (1910-1997) was an entomologist who specialized in Diptera, especially Chloropidae. Sabrosky worked at the Systematic Entomology Laboratory of United States Department of Agriculture and at the National Museum of Natural History, Department of Entomology.
Descriptive Entry
These records consist of correspondence, drafts, notes, and related materials documenting Curtis W. Sabrosky's work as a delegate and President of the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature. Much of the material concerns the development of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature, 1st edition (1961), and 3rd edition (1985).
