This accession consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence documenting the professional career of Curtis W. Sabrosky at Michigan State University and the United States Department of Agriculture. The correspondence also documents his research on the taxonomy of flies.

Historical Note

Curtis Williams Sabrosky (1910-1997) was an entomologist who specialized in Diptera, especially Chloropidae. Sabrosky worked at the Systematic Entomology Laboratory of United States Department of Agriculture and at the National Museum of Natural History, Department of Entomology.
