Summary

"A Mughal Hunt" exhibition opens at the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery. The exhibition explains how a scholar deduces the origin and provenance of a work of art. The center piece of the exhibition is a recently aquired 17th-century paining of India's Mughal court. A symposium, "Artists and Traditions: New Studies of Indian Paintings," was held in connection with the exhibit.
