Summary

Catherine Macfarlane (1877-1969) was a Philadelphia gynecologist and cancer researcher. In 1951, she received a Lasker Clinical Medical Research Award, jointly with Elise Depew Strang L'Esperance, for her work helping to establish cancer treatment centers for women.
