These records document the tenure of Eugene Jarosewich (1926-2007). Jarosewich was a Chemist in the National Museum of Natural History, Department of Mineral Sciences, Division of Meteorites from 1964 to 1998, and remained on as chemist emeritus until his death in 2007. Materials include a series of record books that record Jarosewich's analysis of a broad range of meteorites and rocks by classical chemical analysis. One of the books records Jarosewich's work on lunar samples. Also included is correspondence and memoranda.

Descriptive Entry

These records document the tenure of Eugene Jarosewich (1926-2007). Jarosewich was a Chemist in the National Museum of Natural History, Department of Mineral Sciences, Division of Meteorites from 1964 to 1998, and remained on as chemist emeritus until his death in 2007.
