From the dust jacket.

The Papers of Joseph Henry is an eleven-volume edition documenting the life and career of American physicist Joseph Henry (1797-1878). Volumes 1-5 were edited by Nathan Reingold et al., 1972-1985; volumes 6-11 were edited by Marc Rothenberg et al., 1992-2007. A twelfth volume provides a cumulative index to the entire series.

For more on the contents of each volume and for ordering information, go to the next section.

For selected transcriptions and facsimiles, see the "Sample Documents" section. For a selection of Henry documents from volume 7 of The Papers of Joseph Henry, see the Web site of the Model Editions Partnership.
