Major topics include appraisal, insurance, gifts to the Foundation, especially those received from Joseph H. Hirshhorn, and artworks gifted by the Foundation to the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. In addition, there are files related to the 50th anniversary of the Armory Show. Materials include correspondence; lists, monetary valuations, and photographs of artworks; insurance policies and claims; invoices, receipts, check stubs, and other accounting documents; and related materials.
