Summary

This accession consists of two websites maintained by the Smithsonian Associates. The Discovery Theater website, crawled on November 13, 2020, provides information about its children's shows. It reflects the closure of the theater during the Covid-19 pandemic. The "Creative Tools for Teaching" website, crawled on April 29, 2021, was developed by Discovery Theater staff to provide resources for their target audience during the closure. It serves as an online resource to support early childhood educators in using arts integration, museum theater, and improvisation to support instructional play in preschool and kindergarten classrooms.
