Summary

This accession consists of field books and related records documenting botanical collecting in the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Australia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Africa, and Thailand by Robert B. Faden, research botanist in the Department of Botany at the National Museum of Natural History. Faden's wife, Audrey, a wildlife artist, aided her husband with collecting plant specimens in East Africa. Materials include field books, specimen labels, correspondence, collection lists, and notes. Some materials are in electronic format.
