Summary

This accession consists of the "Smithsonian Music" website as it existed on September 27, 2021. The website brings together resources from across the Smithsonian Institution to provide unique musical opportunities and increase access to the nation's collections. The website also includes a blog, "Smithsonian Music Notations," which launched in August 2017. It compiles original posts as well as music-related posts from other Smithsonian Institution blogs. Only content hosted on the website are included in this accession. Due to technical issues, calendar-based content does not function as expected. Materials are in electronic format.
