Summary

This accession consists of records that document the planning and execution of special events at the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI). Such events include the opening of the NMAI museum in Washington, D.C. in 2004, exhibit openings, presidential inaugural celebrations, film screenings, public programs, visits from international dignitaries, receptions, galas, and meetings. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, agendas, notes, budget records, guest lists, invitations, sample tickets and passes, floor plans, programs, press releases, images, brochures, postcards, and clippings.
