Summary

This accession consists of the "Smithsonian Campaign" website which was crawled on November 12, 2020, and again on April 29, 2021. The purpose of the Smithsonian Campaign was to transform one of the nation's greatest assets into a 21st century catalyst for change by investing in people, places, programs and treasures in order to tell America's story, spark discovery, inspire lifelong learning and use technologies to reach people everywhere. The website provides information about the campaign which concluded in February 2018. It was not updated after the end of the campaign and was taken offline shortly after the second crawl. Due to technical issues, some content does not load properly or function as expected. The website was also captured using a non-crawl method on May 5, 2021. Server files are also included in this accession. Materials are in electronic format.
