The Flora of the West Indies section, maintained by the Department of Botany, was crawled on August 27, 2021. It is a checklist of names, distribution, and conservation status. It also includes specimen information and images as well as a geographic and historic overview. Due to technical issues, the search function does not properly operate in the web crawl and specimen information may be incomplete. The Index Nominum Genericorum section, maintained by the Department of Botany, was crawled on August 27, 2021. It is a compilation of published generic names for algae, fungi, and plants. Due to technical issues, the search function does not properly operate in the web crawl and the names may be incomplete. The Onagraceae section, maintained by the Department of Botany, was crawled on August 26, 2021. It includes phylogeny and classification of the evening primrose family. Due to technical issues, some features in this web crawl do not function as expected and information may be missing. The Flora of the Hawaiian Islands section, maintained by the Department of Botany, was crawled on August 27, 2021. It documents collaborative research conducted by the National Museum of Natural History and the National Tropical Botanical Garden and includes information about specimens, images, and a bibliography. Due to technical issues, the search function does not properly operate in the web crawl and specimen information may be incomplete. The Flora of Micronesia section, maintained by the Department of Botany, was crawled on August 27, 2021. It documents collaborative research conducted by the National Museum of Natural History and the National Tropical Botanical Garden and includes a geographic overview and bibliography. Specimen information was missing from the live website at the time it was crawled and, therefore, is not included in the web crawl. The Hope Diamond section, maintained by the Department of Mineral Sciences, was crawled on August 27, 2021. It provides a historical timeline and images of the Hope Diamond. Server files for this section are also included. This Evolution of Terrestrial Ecosystems Program section, crawled August 27, 2021, includes information about the program and related research, scholarly events, publications, and news. Server files for this section are also included. The Repatriation Review Committee section, maintained by the Department of Anthropology, was crawled on August 27, 2021. It is a compilation of all proposals or requests for names. Due to technical issues, the search function does not properly operate in the web crawl and the proposals may be incomplete. The Burgess Shale section, maintained by the Department of Paleobiology, was crawled on September 1, 2021. It provides information about fossils discovered by Secretary Charles D. Walcott in 1909 in the Burgess Shale rock formation in the Canadian Rockies. These fossils are more than half a billion years old and reside in the National Museum of Natural History collections. The Joseph Augustine Cushman section, maintained by the Department of Paleobiology, was crawled on September 15, 2021. Cushman was known as the father of American micropaleontology and was a pioneer in the use of foraminifera to support oil exploration in North America, developing a classification method that for the first time allowed foraminifera to be used for borehole correlation. This website section provides biographical information, contributions to science, and information about related collections at the National Museum of Natural History. The Flora of the Marquesas Islands section, maintained by the Department of Botany, was crawled on September 23, 2021. It documents collaborative research conducted by the National Museum of Natural History and the National Tropical Botanical Garden and includes a project overview, specimen information, a geographic overview, images, and a bibliography.
