Summary

This accession consists of two websites maintained by Made By Us, a collaboration of history and civics organizations dedicated to presenting history in relevant, provocative, and surprising ways for anyone who wants to participate in shaping the future of the United States. The National Museum of American History is one of the founding members. The "Civic Season" website was crawled on June 22, 2021. It promotes participation in civic activities by a diverse audience and aims to create an annual "season" for this participation in late June and early July. The "My Wish for U. S." website was crawled on August 27, 2021. It allows individuals to express their hopes and wishes for the future of the United States as the country prepares to celebrate 250 years of history.Both websites provide content in English and Spanish. Materials are in electronic format.
