Summary

This accession consists of records that document the activities of the Smithsonian Institution Research Information System (SIRIS) Members Group and the meetings of that group. The SIRIS Members Group consists of representatives from bureaus participating in the Smithsonian Institution Research Information System and provides a forum for discussion of topics that affect the efficient and effective implementation, operation, and use of the system by members and end-users. It is a forum for identifying modifications, improvements, and new functionalities to the system, and for bringing recommendations to the SIRIS Management Committee. Materials include correspondence; memoranda; meeting agendas and minutes; SIRIS users list; new member applications; and other related materials
