Summary

This accession consists of records documenting the activities of the Smithsonian Institution Research Information System (SIRIS); Management Committee and the meetings of that committee. The SIRIS Management Committee tracks progress and makes policy decisions for the Smithsonian Institution Research Information System. These records were created and maintained by Christine Hennessey, Chief, Research and Scholars Center, Smithsonian American Art Museum, who was Chair of the SIRIS Management Committee from FY 2004-FY 2008. There are also some materials from when Karen Weiss, Information Resources Manager, Archives of American Art, was Chair. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, agendas, meeting minutes, planning documents, funding information, policies, and other related materials.
