This accession consists of four websites and one blog maintained by the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. The museum's primary website was crawled on June 11, 2021. It includes information about the museum and its educational programs, exhibitions, and events. Due to technical issues, most of the embedded blog was not captured in this accession. The online catalog maintained by the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, Shop was crawled on August 26, 2021. Due to technical issues, product listings in this accession may be incomplete. The Cooper Hewitt's GitHub account was crawled September 1, 2021. The account provides the museum with a space to share open-source technologies developed in-house. Due to technical issues, software may not download or function properly from the crawled website. The collections database website was crawled on September 23, 2021. It includes information about most of the museum's collection items and provides a variety of options for searching them. Due to technical issues, this accession may not include all data available on the live website at the time of the crawl and search functionality may be limited. The "Cooper Hewitt Labs" blog was crawled on July 7, 2021. It provides a behind the scenes look at the work of the Digital and Emerging Media Department. The blog was launched in December 2011 and has been dormant since September 2018. Materials are in electronic format.
