This accession consists of the email account of Meredith L. Bastian, curator of primates at the National Zoological Park (NZP). Bastian oversees the exhibits and welfare of primates in the Great Ape House at NZP, as well as supervises behavioral research projects and conducts fieldwork in the behavior, diet, and nesting practice of wild orangutans.
