From Torch article: "Amina Dickerson came to the Museum in 1975 to pilot a special outreach program, 'African Heritage Month,' in six D.C. public schools; within a year, she was promoted to director of elementary and secondary education and this spring became the Museum's program director. She is also responsible for the docent training program implementing special programs and developing course curricula."
