National Museum of History and Technology (NMHT), now known as the National Museum of American History, receives first Caterpillar diesel engine "Old Betsy," the world's first mass produced diesel engine built in 1930. With Dr. Robert Angus Brooks, SI Under Secretary, and William Blackie, director and former board chairman of Caterpillar.
