Members of a group of Chinese zoologists who came to present giant pandas Hsing-Hsing and Ling-Ling to the National Zoo dining in the Commons in the Smithsonian Institution Building, or Castle, with David Challinor, Assistant Secretary for Science, Theodore Reed, Director of the National Zoological Park, Daniel J. Boorstin, Director of the National Museum of History and Technology, and Michael Collins, Director of the National Air and Space Museum.
