Summary

Osmund Gunvaldsen (1893-1982). In 1932, when this photograph was taken, he was U.S. Marshal for North Dakota. From 1934 to 1941 Gunvaldsen was publisher of Normanden, a Norwegian newspaper; he then founded the Northwest Development Association, which bought and sold mineral and oil rights, and had an active career as an inventor.
