Summary

Cleveland Putnam Grant (1904-1985), curator, naturalist, and educator, N. W. Harris Public School Extension Department, Field Museum of Natural History. Grant was known for his motion pictures of birds, including footage contributed to the Walt Disney "True Adventure" nature films in the 1950s. The mounted birds shown were hawks that had been preying on pigeons near the museum and that Grant carried in traveling cases for educational demonstrations in Chicago schools.
