Summary

Siti Hartinah, wife of the President of Indonesia, presents National Zoological Park Director Dr. Theodore Reed with a photograph of a Komodo dragon. The government of Indonesia presented the National Zoo with a Komodo dragon as a mate for the lone female that the Zoo has had since 1967. With Ratmini Gandasubrata, wife of the Indonesian Ambassador, Soedjatmoko, and Mary Livingston Ripley. ; State Department luncheon and tour for Madame Suharto at National Museum of History and Technology.
