These three field books document Peter F. D. Van Peenen's collecting in North Carolina and Vietnam, 1967-1968. Collecting was completed in conjunction with U.S. Military medical units. A portion documents his participation in a mammal survey in 1968 with the Zoonoses Section of Department of Clinical Investigation of the Naval Medical Research Institute, on C© n So'n Island, Vietnam. This was completed with M. L. Cunningham and John F. Duncan.
