Summary

This collection contains 16 field books and 1 folder by William LaGrange Ralph, originally maintained by the Division of Birds. Field notes generally describe the observation and collection of bird specimens, as well as detailed information on nests and collection of eggs. Included are journal-style notes as well as specimen lists with field numbers and occasionally United States National Museum (USNM) numbers.
