Summary

TThis collection consists of the field notes of Albert C. Smith from collecting work in Fiji and the West Indies. The materials include plant lists, journal entries, correspondence, notes, and determinations. Smith collected botanical specimens in Fiji in 1933-1934, 1947, and 1953, in the West Indies in 1956, and British Guiana (now Guyana) in 1937-1938. The notes from British Guiana are from Smith's time serving as a botanist on the Terry-Holden Expedition.
