Summary

Science Talent Search winner Marina Prajmovsky (Meyers) (1924-1974) used her scholarship to attend Radcliffe College, where she majored in biology. She then received her M.D. at Yale University, conducted research on eye diseases, and eventually became an ophthalmologist in private practice. The original photograph caption referred to the fact that she then had a "vacation" job at Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C.
