This accession consists of records documenting the development, transformation, management, marketing, and activities of the O. Orkin Insect Zoo. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, handbooks, scripts, label text, concept outlines, architectural drawings, floor plans, specifications, brochures, original artwork, videotapes, audio recordings, images, clippings, television segments, posters, and memorabilia such as a T-shirt and a mousepad. Also included are product samples developed in conjunction with the insect zoo, such as a lotto game and children's books accompanied by audiotapes. Some materials are in electronic format.
