Summary

This accession consist of wood-mounted copper printing plates of the sculpture collection of Joseph H. Hirshhorn. The plates were likely created for the exhibition catalog for "Modern Sculpture from the Joseph H. Hirshhorn Collection." The exhibition was curated by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and ran from October 3, 1962 through January 6, 1963, though many of the outdoor sculptures are believed to have been photographed on Hirshhorn's property.
