Summary

Gilbert Dalldorf (1900-1979), winner of the 1959 Albert Lasker award for research on viruses, was head of New York State Department of Health research laboratories, 1945-1957. In 1958, he became director for medical and scientific research for the National Foundation (March of Dimes) and member of Sloan-Kettering Institute for Cancer Research.
