Summary

Biologist Francis Harry Compton Crick (1916-2004) was co-winner of the Nobel prize in 1962 (with James Watson and Maurice Wilkins) for discovery of the structure of DNA. This photograph was distributed in 1960 when the three men received the Albert Lasker Basic Medical Research Award for their work revealing the double helical structure of DNA.
