Summary

Australian-born physicist William Lawrence Bragg (1890-1971) shared the Nobel Prize in 1915 with his father Sir William Henry Bragg. William Lawrence Bragg was professor of physics at Cambridge, 1938-1954, and director of the Cavendish Laboratory. William Henry Bragg was knighted in 1920 and became Director of the Royal Institution in 1923.
