Consists of records documenting the "Discover Graphics" project at the Smithsonian Associates, in the Studio Arts Program. The project was established to teach Washington, D.C. area high school art teachers and their students professional printmaking skills using Smithsonian Institution printing presses and museum resources. The records also date back to when the project was part of the Resident Associate Program. Materials include the correspondence of Joanne M. Gigliotti, Program Manager for "Discover Graphics" project; grant and budgetary information; black-and-white photographs, contact sheets, and slides of class activities; invitations to student printmaking exhibitions; brochures; and confirmation forms sent to high school art teachers selected to attend the project along with their students.
