Summary

This accession consists of outreach records documenting the activities of the Professional Outreach subgroup of the Community and Constituent Services Department. Professional Outreach is responsible for programs and services designed to facilitate relationships with professional, established Native and non-Native organizations and institutions. This includes coordinating and facilitating international relations and international contacts; museum alliances/relationships' community initiated exhibitions; community initiated collections research; traveling exhibitions to Native communities outgoing community rotations for Mall exhibitions; and the administrative operations and program support for the entire Community and Constituent Services Department. Included are bookmarks and postcards for "Indigenous Geography," a bilingual web site for educators about Native communities across the Western Hemisphere.
