Consists of records documenting the publications and publication activities of the Office of Public Affairs in their efforts to promote and provide information to the diverse population of people who work for, visit, and do research at the Smithsonian Institution. Materials include correspondence; memoranda; brochures; guides; reports; surveys; audiocassettes; color transparencies, slides, and photographs; black-and-white photographs; and compact discs. Some of publications are in languages other than English, such as German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Cantonese, and Arabic, as well as in large print and in Braille.
