Summary

Consists of records documenting the meetings of the SIBIS Users Group, later the SIRIS Members Group. The Group consists of representatives from bureaus participating in the Smithsonian Institution Bibliographic Information System (SIBIS) and the later Smithsonian Institution Research Information System (SIRIS) and provides a forum for discussion and for identifying modifications, improvements, and new functionalities to the system. Materials include correspondence; memoranda; meeting agendas and minutes; mission statements; users lists; member guidelines and sample applications; and minutes and reports of sub-committees and task forces within the SIRIS Members Group.
