  • Newsletter, Smithsonian Institution Employees Federal Credit Union, June 1, 1938
  • The Smithsonian Institution Employees Federal Credit Union was organized in June 1935 as a voluntary association of Smithsonian employees to promote financial literacy among its members and to loan money for useful purposes. The Credit Union continued to operate for many years, but in 1989 at the suggestion of the National Credit Union Association it merged with the Agriculture Federal Credit Union and ceased its independent existence.
