Consists of records primarily documenting Latino activities at the Smithsonian Institution with regard to exhibitions, committees, special events and projects. Materials include correspondence and memoranda pertaining to the Latino Media Advisory Committee; reports and meeting minutes of the Smithsonian Latino Oversight Committee; Hispanic Heritage month articles and information; Latino advertisements regarding Smithsonian events; and audio recordings of Hispanic radio programs. Also includes newspaper clippings, articles, and brochures pertaining to the controversial exhibitions "Etiquette of the Undercaste" and "Degenerate Art: The Fate of the Avant-Garde in Nazi Germany".
