  • The Special Events Coordinator organizes events, such as receptions, award presentations, concerts, openings of exhibitions, and visits by dignitaries.
  • Patricia Bragdon became secretary to the Assistant Director, Arthur M. Sackler Gallery in 1985, in which capacity she would have carried out the duties of organizing special events among other things. Her title was changed officially to Special Events Coordinator between 1987 and 1989. She served in this capacity until Caroline Bedinger succeeded her in 1997. Bedinger has served from 1997 to 2005. The Special Events Coordinator reports to the Office of the Membership and Development.
