Summary

These records document the exhibition, "Painting as a Pastime: The Paintings of Winston S. Churchill," which was shown in the Associates' Lounge of the Smithsonian Castle from September to November 1983. Its travel to the Institution was initiated by Richard Hubbard Howland, Special Assistant to the Secretary and a trustee of the Royal Oak Foundation.
