Consists of records documenting exhibition planning and production at the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery during the tenures of Thomas Lawton, Director, 1977-1987; Milo Cleveland Beach, Director, 1987-2001; and Julian Raby, Director, 2002-2017. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, invoices, budgets, catalogues and photocopies of catalogues, lists of catalogue entries, press releases, notes, agreements, slides of artwork, photocopies of photographs of objects, floor plans, label copy, proposals, research files, educational kits, object installation schedules, invitation lists, protocols, article texts, clippings, floor plans, planning documents, lender information, audio brochures, publications, and related materials. Some materials are in electronic format.
