SI Annals 1997-1999
E-mail, Judith Zilczer to James A. Steed, June 7, 2001
In 1997 the Hirshhorn's Curatorial Department and Department of Education were merged into a new Department of Public Programs, reporting to the Assistant Director for Art and Public Programs. Neal Benezra held the position through 1999. The Department was then terminated, and the Curatorial and Education departments resumed independent status.
