Summary

Consists of records documenting special events at the Museum, including benefit auctions, and events surrounding the Carnegie Mansion, during the tenures of Dorothy Twining Globus, coordinator for the 1974 auction; Mary Kerr, coordinator for the 1975 auction; Michele Raphoon, Membership and Special Events Manager, 1991-1993; and Pamela Jo Haylock, Special events coordinator, beginning in 1993. Materials include lists of participants, invitation samples and mailing lists, contracts with talent and caterers, publicity, press clippings, correspondence with prospective donors, photographs of items for auction, drafts for auction catalogues, auction bids, expense statements, and sale receipts.
